Linda Carey Artist
When I start to create a piece of Art it feels as though I am sharing an inner part of me, the way I feel controls the emotion and depth of both the image and the atmosphere within the piece. I have always kept a part of myself separate from the outside world and yet find as I mature the need to express myself in my Art has grown. Often my work will flow from an emotional reaction, an almost overload of feelings that need to be embodied in a painting. It is strange to admit my work, be it a Landscape, Seascape or Object are a direct reaction to the emotion I feel on seeing it.
At this point in time I feel a sense of freedom and a need for adventure, an exhilaration in driving my motorcycle and exploring new places that are now within my grasp. My work has taken on more vibrancy within the finished pieces and going forward I feel an almost new beginning that I am happy to embrace.
